ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE
Baddeck, Nova Scotia, 2009–ongoing
Lord Cultural Resources was asked to join a team led by WHW Architects and A. L. Arbic Consulting to complete an Attraction Expansion Feasibility Study for the Site. In particular, the expansion will include a new gallery celebrating the achievements of the Aeronautical Experiment Association and the flight of the Silver Dart, as well as a new Innovation Centre which will feature interactive exhibitions and a range of public and academic programs. To support the team's work, Lord Cultural Resources completed an interpretive concept for the new components and provided an analysis of facility needs along with a series of related recommendations to support that experience.
