BIZKAIA MUSEUM NETWORK

The Department of Culture of Bizkaia, one of the 3 regions of the Basque Country, has commissioned Lordcultura to create a Museum Network that will coordinate over 40 museums in the territory, each of them presenting very different characteristics in terms of collection, visitor experience, management model and budget. As part of this project we completed approximately 20 on-site visits to museums and interviews with museum directors, analysed museum figures and numbers, researched network models and identified areas for improvement.
