THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM JORDAN

Located within the Al-Hussein National Park, The Children's Museum Jordan opened in May 2007. Initiated by Queen Rania to complement educational reforms taking place in the country, the museum is designed to provide an interactive learning experience for children fourteen and under. Lord Cultural Resources was engaged to create program and activity guides for ten of the exhibits, outlining learning objectives, scripting, and equipment and material requirements. In addition to the activity guides, we prepared a training program for the docents, and delivered training so docents can effectively engage visitors with the planned activities and develop their skills as docents. The training program and manual will assist staff with future training of docents and educators.
