CITY OF TORONTO REVITALIZATION
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 2001
The City of Toronto selected Lord Cultural Resources, in association with Canadian Urban Institute, Lura Consulting and E.R.A. Architects, to prepare the concept, program and business plan for a new museum/cultural attraction on the waterfront. The attraction will tell the untold stories that are part of Toronto's civic identity in the broader context of Canadian values and international reputation, reach youth, draw all citizens, and attract visitors from around the world. The concept is built on three core themes: Gathering Place – the Toronto story, past, present and future; the Global Village – building livable cities; and City Soul – pride of place.
