CITY OF MUNICH

The Department of Culture of Munich contracted Lord Cultural Resources to analyze the Munich's City Museum and the context within the entire municipal museum system. The City of Munich operates a number of well known museums such as Lenbachhaus, Villa Stuck, a Jewish Museum, a planned NS Documentation Centre alongside a number of smaller galleries and art initiatives. Munich is also home to the large state collections of Bavaria including the famous Pinakotheken and the Deutsches Museum. Lord Cultural Resources developed recommendations and strategies for cooperation between all city-run institutions to realize synergies and potentials of an urban museum network improving the quality of visitor services.
