FORT WORTH MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY
Texas, 2004–05
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History embarked on a planning process for long-range development, including a major capital expansion project. The Museum has seized the opportunity raised by the recent capital project initiative to reconsider its overall strategic direction. Lord Cultural Resources was engaged to prepare a Strategic Master Plan, including institutional, collections, and market analyses, planning for facilities and the visitor experience, and a business and transition plan for the expansion. This thorough strategic planning process is a fundamental step in preparing for the Museum's expanded role in the broader Fort Worth community.
