GLASGOW'S GLASGOW
Scotland, 1989–90
Lord Cultural Resources provided curatorial and interpretation services to this major exhibition celebrating the heritage and potential of Glasgow which was designated as the "1990 European City of Culture". Our work on this project included securing over 2,600 artefact loans, ensuring proper research and care of these objects, as well as developing conservation, exhibition and interpretation strategies. The Interpretive Plan for Glasgow's Glasgow also included communication strengths and weaknesses, and operating requirements of a variety of exhibit and media techniques to be used in the over 60,000 square feet of public space.
