HAMILTON AND SCOURGE PROJECT
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, 1983–91
Lord Cultural Resources provided ongoing consulting services regarding the Conservation Feasibility Study for the raising and display of the Hamilton and the Scourge, two armed schooners dating from the War of 1812 resting in a remarkable state of preservation at 88 metres depth in Lake Ontario. Our work included the research of major European and Australian marine archaeology ship restoration projects.
