HONG KONG HERITAGE MUSEUM
Hong Kong, 1993–2001
Lord Cultural Resources was first engaged to conduct a review of the Hong Kong Regional Council's plans to develop a Heritage Museum. Our initial work included a review of the draft display themes and storylines for the proposed exhibitions, collection and acquisition policy, public programming, implementation plan and business plan. Lord Cultural Resource developed the detailed Functional Brief for the new museum, and to worked with Hong Kong's Architectural Services Department on detailed design of the museum, right through to the tendering process. We were further commissioned to advise them on the automation of their collection catalogue and to undertake Exhibition Development for this major museum. We served as Project Managers through to opening day in December 2000.
