LINCOLN HERITAGE TRAIL
Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, 1996–99

Lord Cultural Resources was commissioned by the Lincoln City and Lincolnshire County Councils to develop the Lincoln Heritage Trail, which presents the City's existing attractions within a coherent framework. We were invited to follow this up with an Options Appraisal for the future of the City & County Museum. The site that we recommended for development during the Options Appraisal was accepted, and in 2000, City and County Councils launched an international architectural competition for the new building won by the London-based firm, Panter Hudspith. In October 2005, the new £12.5 million building was opened to great acclaim.
