LONGWOOD GARDENS
Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, 2008–09
Longwood Gardens is the former country House of Pierre S. du Pont, an innovative community leader who opened his home for the enjoyment and education of the public. Lord Cultural Resources has been hired by Longwood Gardens to create a Visionary Master Plan, which calls upon Pierre's values to guide the institution into the 21st century. Our process consisted of extensive research, key strategic organizational issues, development of strategic decisions for the future, and facilitation of a retreat yielded goals and priorities for the next five years. The resulting Facilities Master Plan ensures the physical infrastructure will be able to meet the goals.
