MAISON DE LA VACHE QUI RIT
Lons-le-Saunier, France, 2007–09
Set in the place where the very first cheese wedges were made, in the center of Jura, the Maison de la Vache Qui Rit opened on May 21st, 2009. This 1300 sq. m. building intends to be a lively place, open to all, and to symbolize the modern and enterprising spirit of the entire Bel Group. Lordculture provided global project management (particularly during the initial period) both on strategic and operational aspects. After a study on retail spaces and visitor circulation, the consultants designed an action plan for the new institution. Lordculture also assisted the Bel Group with the interpretative plan, exhibition design and multimedia projects.
