MCMASTER UNIVERSITY MUSEUM OF ART

The McMaster Museum of Art officially opened to the public on June 11, 1994 and is responsible for a permanent collection of close to 6,000 works representing the history of art in a diversity of media from ancient times to the present. The Museum was founded as a way for the university to encourage the appreciation of art by students and the public. Lord Cultural Resources was commissioned to develop the Strategic Plan for the McMaster Art Museum.
