PREHISTORY MUSEUM OF JEONGOK
Province of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, 2007–08
Jeongok is a major archaeological site in the province of Gyeonggi-do in South Korea. In 30 years, over 11 excavations have been carried out. Due to the latest scientific and archaeological discoveries on the role played by Asia in human evolution, this site is an ideal place to settle a museum dedicated to prehistoric times. Lordculture was commissioned to help the architects on interpretative planning and exhibition design. Together with famous historian Yves Coppens' team and architect firm X-tu, Lordculture harmonized the museum's scientific content, architecture and visitor experience.
