Transforming Lives, Practices and Places:
A Cross-Disciplinary Breakfast Conversation

MuseumNext

Join us on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, for a lively discussion of how cultural workers, museums and the architects who design them are transforming people, practices, places, and the museum field.

For the previous two days, some of the world’s leading-edge professionals will discuss the theme of “transformation” at the MuseumNext conference in Tribeca, discussing how museums are changing lives, creating positive social impact, evolving practices and revamping their spaces. At this morning-after breakfast, we’ll learn about the key takeaways and tie the threads together by hearing from a panel of dynamic speakers who are working on the latest transformative projects in museums and beyond and by sharing our own experiences in an interactive conversation.

Panelists include Ann K. Webster (Brooklyn Museum), Jim Richardson (MuseumNext), Urban Bush Women (Speaker TBA), and Alexander P. Lamis (Robert A.M. Stern Architects). Moderated by Priya Sircar (Lord Cultural Resources).
