Project Experience
Telus Spark
Formerly the Calgary Science Centre, Telus Spark re-opened as a dramatically re-imagined institution in a magnificent new facility in 2011. Since that time, Spark has pursued a new vision, to see “our community transformed by a culture of curiosity, risk-taking and problem-solving” via a series of cutting-edge exhibitions and programs.
Realizing this ambitious vision has been challenging, and Telus Spark’s Board and senior leadership have identified the need for a strategic planning process to set out the institution’s goals to the year 2024, as well as a feasibility study process to test the viability of a series of proposed new revenue generating components. Lord Cultural Resources has been working with the Spark team to develop both plans and set the institution on a successful course for the future.
