The Bronx Museum of the Arts

2015

The Bronx Museum of the Arts is an internationally recognized cultural destination that presents innovative contemporary art exhibitions and education programs and is committed to promoting cross-cultural dialogues for diverse audiences. Founded in 1971 with the mission to connect diverse audiences to the urban experience through contemporary art, plays a vital role in the Bronx by helping to make art accessible to the entire community and connecting with local schools, artists, teens and families through its robust education initiatives and public programs. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Museum implemented a universal free admission policy, supporting its mission to make arts experiences available to all audiences.

In the summer of 2015, The Bronx Museum of the Arts engaged Lord Cultural resources to: review existing data collections tools; advise on how to more effectively capture, track and monitor information; measure the efficacy of outreach and promotional strategies; record public perceptions; and help determine resources needed to meet short- and long-term effectiveness that benefit audiences and the Museum.
