Barry Lord Launches His Blog and Lectures
on Art & Energy: How Culture Changes

artandenergybarrylord.wordpress.com
Many people interested in the thesis of Co-President Barry Lord's latest book, Art & Energy: How Culture Changes (The AAM Press, 2014) have been urging him to start a blog on the subject. We are pleased to announce that Barry has now done this. Readers and others intrigued by the subject are invited to follow the blog and contribute to the discussion. The URL is: artandenergybarrylord.wordpress.com.

The blog, like Barry's book, will range through the entire history of energy and art from the mastery of fire forward, but will focus on many contemporary issues, especially those associated with today’s energy sources — coal, electrification, oil and gas, nuclear and renewable energy and their concomitant cultures of production, transformation, consumption, anxiety and stewardship respectively. Please read the blog's first post and join the discussion on art and energy.
