The Future of Museums: A Round-Table Discussion
November 10th | 2:15 pm–3:30 pm.

“What inspires us to create new models of museums and visitor experiences? Some say new ideas come from the consultants, museum directors, curators or inspiration from other building types or life experiences. This plenary discussion aspires to illuminate alternative sources to help further continued innovation and discovery to help benefit new museum projects. Hear from a diverse group of experts about their influencers and sources of inspiration. Join us in a conversation about forward focused innovation as a muse for creative iteration.”

Program Abstract:
Where do new models of museums come from? How can we evolve the museum as a building typology? Some say new ideas come from the consultants, museum directors, curators, community members or inspiration from other building types or life experiences. This plenary discussion aspires to illuminate alternative sources to help further continued innovation and discovery to help benefit new museum projects.
