Spectacular "Forces of Nature" Exhibit Opens at Iceland's Perlan Museum

REYKJAVIK • Iceland’s iconic Perlan Museum has launched a spectacular, immersive new exhibition that explores the geological forces that make the country a wonder of the world. Lord Cultural Resources is proud to work in partnership with the Perlan and to have contributed to the planning and design of this dramatic new exhibition.

Take a journey into the island’s volcanic center; shake along as an earthquake rattles the nation; dive deep into the ocean to visit Iceland’s diverse underwater world; and explore a 9-meter-tall reconstruction of Látrabjarg—one of the world’s most important bird-breeding grounds.

The exhibition is housed in Iceland's most celebrated architectural treasure, the Perlan (or “Pearl”), which offers panoramic views of Reykjavik, outstanding meals, and a museum experience as unique as the country that surrounds it. In Fall 2018, the Perlan will open a digital planetarium and new exhibitions that explore Iceland's northern lights.
