Longwood Gardens splashes into its summer of spectacle

The Main Fountain Garden's grand opening on May 27th, 2017, kicks off a season of spectacular events, gardens, live music, special exhibits, and fountain performances. These celebrations will continue through September 30th. Tickets are now available.

Two years of revitalization work have produced a meticulously engineered garden; one with technological wonders inspired by the vision of Pierre S. du Pont.

Lord Cultural Resources was initially contracted by Longwood Gardens in 2010 to create a Visionary Master Plan, which called upon Pierre du Pont's values to guide the institution into the 21st century. We have continued to work with Longwood Gardens in several of our service streams. Most recently, we were commissioned by Longwood to facilitate development of its strategic plan for 2015-2020.
