Global Curator | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Lord Cultural Resources is looking for an experienced Curator on behalf of a confidential government client to contribute to the development of a major museum project in Abu Dhabi.

This is an opportunity for a senior museum professional to shape a museum’s content, narrative and collections strategy, lead the next phases of exhibition planning and development, and establish the curatorial foundations for its future public programming.

 The ideal candidate will bring:

• A PhD in History, Museum Studies or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive museum experience, including a minimum of 5 years in museum and exhibition planning, development and production management.
• Experience working in a military museum or a comparable institution.
• Established experience in the GCC, particularly the UAE.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1); Arabic language skills would be an advantage.

Location: Remote and/or Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi in the mid-term.
