Human Rights Day Marks the 67th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Sixty-seven years ago, the United Nations vowed to never again allow the atrocities of World War Two to be repeated. The nations of the world came together and wrote the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, proclaiming it to all on December 10th, 1948. Decades later, the words contained in that declaration have been given form. Museums and exhibitions were and still are created to educate all on the meaning and importance of our universal rights.
