Art League Houston

Art League Houston (ALH) has occupied an important niche in the Houston art landscape for over 65 years, supporting emerging and established contemporary artists and helping Houston residents to develop their own artistic abilities. ALH had recently experienced an intense period of transition emerging with a clear plan to serve Houston through thoughtful and vigorous pursuit of its mission. Lord Cultural Resources facilitated a strategic planning process that helped ALH articulate and address its priorities, prepare it to build on its success and navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. The process was so valuable that ALH began implementing solutions indicated in early stages even before the Strategic Plan was finalized. The resulting plan harnessed ALH’s existing activities in a cohesive manner and created a framework for further planning and development.
