Brooklyn Botanic Garden

2001

Tucked away in one of the largest cities of the world, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden has been a beautiful oasis of trees, flowers, and pastoral scenes for almost one hundred years. When the Garden considered shifting its admission charge policy, Lord Cultural Resources was commissioned to conduct research and evaluate their options.

Our team identified museum-related institutions that have changed their admissions policies, and designed an interview protocol. We queried staff from institutions that had undergone a similar shift, and gathering information on admission charge changes’ impact on attendance, admissions revenues, and impact on operating costs and level of contributed income and grant analysis.
