Galicia City of Culture

2006-07

Santiago de Compostela is one of Spain’s most historically significant sites as it was one of the world’s most important pilgrimage cities. The City of Culture is a magnificent 142,000 m2 complex of cultural buildings designed by the renowned Peter Eisenman Architects of New York that includes facilities for art, theatrical productions, a national archives and a national library. The complex was conceived to promote cultural production and participation in the area.

Lordcultura, the Spanish company of Lord Cultural Resources, was commissioned to develop a content plan for this cultural complex that will be located on Mount Gaiás within the city.
