2010-12

Lordculture, the European office of Lord Cultural Resources, was commissioned to develop the programming of a major new cultural institution in the Azeri capital. An original concept and by Zaha Hadid, the building extends over 50,000 square meters and offers space for two museums, exhibitions halls, an auditorium of 1200 seats, multipurpose, business and conference centre. Located close to the city centre, the site will play a pivotal role in the redevelopment of Baku.

Lordculture developed operational aspects across the site as well as cultural programming, partnership and communication strategies. Our team also providided a training plan to equip the staff of the institution. A major component of our scope of services was the development of a functional analysis in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects.
