Kliptown Heritage, Education and Tourism Project

2004-2005

Lord Cultural Resources was invited to conduct a feasibility study to test and develop the ideas, routes, design issues of the framework document in relation to the Kliptown Renewal Project. The proposed uses and activities described in the document or proposed by the various stakeholders were divided into the categories of market acceptability, technical feasibility and financial feasibility.

On the basis of the feasibility study, Lord Cultural Resources prepared a detailed business plan covering a five-year projection including marketing and operating plans, an economic impact assessment, an information and communications technology program, an empowerment program, a risk management assessment and a financial plan. Lord Cultural Resources continued to provide the Kliptown Heritage, Education and Tourism Project with advice and input as needed.
