Mandela: Struggle for Freedom Travelling Exhibition

2017-19

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) has partnered with the Apartheid Museum (Johannesburg, South Africa) to produce a one-of-a-kind exhibition on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This inspirational story is brought to life through rich, mixed-media storytelling and an immersive design that uses artifacts, scenography and props, sound and music, video, digital media, and interactive and participative components.

The exhibit opened at the CMHR on June 8 and will run until 2019. It will travel across various locations in Canada. Lord Cultural Resources was engaged by the CMHR to provide tour management services for the travelling exhibition.  Our work involved developing an Offer Package, identifying and coordinating with host venues across the country, as well as managing all aspects of the tour such as scheduling and logistics.
