In 2011, Lord Cultural Resources was engaged to support the development of a dynamic new destination for the State of Bihar in India. Working alongside Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar’s visionary team led by Shri Anjani Kumar Singh,  Lord provided planning and advisory services that helped realize a bold public investment in heritage.

The Bihar Museum opened in 2017 and is now recognized as one of India’s most advanced cultural institutions—reigniting local pride and setting a new national benchmark.

Toronto's Harbourfront's early days buzzed with excitement and events, but that energy has faded badly. Only big and bold moves will allow the waterfront to live up to its potential and solve the organization’s long-term difficulties. 

“A recent survey by Waterfront Toronto indicated that when compared to great waterfront cities, our waterfront is a woeful underperformer without a single major cultural, recreational or entertainment destination. Most comparable cities have 10 or more.” - Toronto Star, June 19, 2025
