Our 2024 Roundup
We’ve had an extraordinary year of growth and change and are so grateful for the opportunity to work on so many incredibly exciting projects. Here’s a peek into what 2024 had in store for us.
New Leadership
Our biggest news of the year happened in May, when our co-founder Gail Lord announced that Joy Bailey-Bryant, Javier Jimenez and Dov Goldstein were joining her in leading Lord into the future: “These three incredible people are a huge part of Lord’s current and growing success as the world’s most impactful, thoughtful and insightful cultural planning firm.”

Crain’s New York Business named Joy Bailey-Bryant, our president and managing partner, as one of this year’s Notable Black Leaders.
Books
Our team also published two books this year:
Manual of Museum Management - Third Edition, by our co-founder Gail Dexter Lord, is an exciting guide to managing museums in a time of sweeping changes.
Edited by Brad King, New Directions for University Museums is intended to help university museum leaders plan strategically in the context of the issues and needs of the 2020s by examining trends affecting them and directions in response to those forces.
